Monday Coffee

Hello and welcome back to my place. Yesterday was pretty spectacular with the dome lifting over our patch of England, allowing a few frosty flakes from the north to melt on our meadow. We were wondering if the snow would reach us and it felt rather special to see those brave water molecules flitter past our window.

Come in and take a seat at the table. Unfortunately the Darjeeling tea is finished so it will have to be coffee.  Help yourself to a ginger bread man and let me fill you in on some of the exciting things that have happened over the past week. 

Lizzie Chantree has been very busy on her book launch of Ninja School Mum, her new book which will be available in ebook format from the 30th January (just a few day’s time). Now, launching a new book is no easy task, but Lizzie has made it look simple and hasn’t stopped there. Nope. She’s found the time to share some  hot tips with fellow authors/bloggers on cost saving methods of making book presentations look fabulous! Order her new sizzling romance here and don’t forget to leave a review. It’s always great to hear from readers.

Speaking of book launches, given the shortness of the year and the incredible amount of work that is waiting for me (breathing down my neck as I type this), I am happy to say that writing has now begun on one of my new crime thrillers. Progress will be slow as I have another assignment looming in a few weeks but at least there will be movement. Romance is in the cards for one of my detectives; whether it will affect the case and scupper their chances of solving it will be mulled over in the coming weeks.

Looking at all the writers out there, it’s hard not to be inspired to persevere. The Literary Divas, a group of authors and bloggers who share their reviews on new books, including their own, have created a base where hard work is acknowledge. Olganm, a fellow Diva, has posted her latest review on a two new romances (it seems today’s book genre has spoken!): No Place Like You: A Cloud Bay Novel by Emma Douglas and A Wedding At Two Love Lane by Kieran Kramer.  I’m mentioning these reviews and books because…well...it’s winter and we all need something to warm us up during these cold months. For those sitting in the heat, maybe a little sizzle might spark your sunny days too! The reviews are good and the books sound absolutely enticing. Take a look yourself and let me know what you think.  There’s something in those book reviews that caught my attention and made me want to download copies for myself.
