The Year Ahead

Happy New Year, readers!

Now that we’re well into the first month of 2018 I thought I would write to give you an update on what I have planned for this year. Of course, I make no promises to fulfill any or all of these little hatchlings, but it will be fun trying!

  1. I have missed you all so much. For my first challenge, I shall try to write more often and add interesting articles between coffee dates. Some might be requests posted by fellow bloggers or something of interest I might stumble across. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure they are all interesting.
  2. That leads me to my second challenge: to keep in touch with fellow bloggers and participate more in the blogging world. Given my lack of attendance at the weekly virtual blogging meet ups, I have lost touch with some of my older blogging pals.I would love to get in touch with them again and see what they have been up to. The Bloggers Bash is coming up soon which will give me the opportunity to catch up with more friends. Join us if you get a chance.
  3. With all this catching up and extra writing, time has to be set aside for the degree. After all, my assignments aren’t going to write themselves.
  4. img_6522There are an annoying number of half-written scripts crying out to me from my squiggly box of stuff. It’s time to set some of those stories free. So, for my final challenge this year, I will be releasing another thriller on my unsuspecting readers. Stay tuned for details in future blogs!20131122_214039666_iOS

Wish me luck with my fantastic four. It’s not going to be easy and I need all the inspiration I can get. Every hero needs an arch enemy; mine will be procrastination and pure laziness!

Good luck in your endeavours and let me know what you have planned for 2018.

Happy New Year!

Dear Reader,

Taking this opportunity, during the dying throes of 2017, to wish you a happy new year filled with new opportunities, love and happiness. For those fighting the interminable battle of wills with the grim reaper, I send powerful prayers and wish you success in your battle. For those simpering in the corner, waiting for the tide to turn, I say, grab every opportunity to cross the great beyond and find your happy place. Don’t take no for an answer. For those who just want to live another year in peace and harmony, I wish them all the best.

As my phone lives out its last few moments (since my battery is dying and the little android cannot recharge to save its life), I want to reach out to all my friends and family and send salutations for the new year.

Hope exists – as long as we keep our eyes open to the opportunities. Don’t close your eyes this coming year. Seek out the truth and support it.

Happy new year everyone and let’s make the new year count.

Love

E.
