About Me

giphy books

Welcome to my blog.

I don’t claim to be great, nor do I claim to be daring or different. Instead, I invite you to grab a cup of coffee with me, settle down on a comfy sofa and enjoy a mixture of discussions that touch on humour, books, poetry and general life experience. Sharing is caring, so I encourage you to bring your voice into the conversation and let my readers find out about you too, if you want.

If you are a little intrigued about what I write, check out my author page at eloiseds.com or the snippets I post on this site for feedback from you, my lovely audience. Let me know if anything takes your fancy – it’s always nice for an author to know she’s hitting the right spot.

So, that’s me and this is my blog. Thank you for stopping by.

  5. Hi there, I am not sure if you “do” blog awards or not… but I have nominated you for the Premio Dardos award. The rules are simple: all you need to do is nominate 15 blogs, nice and easy. Here is the link to the post: http://wp.me/p4Do1g-u4. I hope you will accept it, but if not… nevermind, I still like your blog and this is a token of my appreciation!

    • Angie K, thank you for nominating me. I consider it an honour and appreciate the sentiment. Sorry for the delay in responding to it – I am working on my laptop and got a chance to check my Spam folder into which, for some unknown reason, your comment founds its way! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and again, thank you so much.

  7. I… can’t seem to find a “contact me” section on your page.
I wanted to reach out to you about the next “blog-party” I’m going to be having at the end of March, with an eye to the possibility of some small collaboration. If you’re interested in hearing more (or at least seeing the email I was sending out to past participants) drop me a line 🙂

Just passing by to say that I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award. I don’t know if you have already been nominated before but, if you haven’t, Take a look at my last post, you’ll understand pretty much what it is all about. I really like your blog. Good luck!

  15. Hi Eloise, I’ve enjoyed reading about you and about your philosophy of life. Fellow blogger Lance Greenfield suggested you may be interested in the subject of my latest blog post about a particularly inspirational man (especially what he says about visions and their timetables). Thank you for your posts & I look forward to reading more! http://scskillman.com/2015/06/29/people-of-inspiration-russ-parker-poet-priest-author-and-champion-of-celtic-spirituality-and-healing-dreams/

  25. Hi Eloise 🙂 Just stopping by to say how fantastic it was to meet you on Saturday. So glad you managed to pluck up the courage to meet so many internet strangers, horror-stories and paranoia be damned! 😉 You are a wonderful and interesting person to talk to, and I am looking forward to hearing about your writing life in the future 🙂

    • Adam, it was wonderful meeting you too. I was inspired by our conversation and feel much better about my genre of writing (it’s always nice to know I have company in the darkness!).
I’m looking forward to reading more of your work and, hopefully, your book when you feel it’s the right time to create it.
